The current 3D revolution started in the cinemas and has already made the step into the Home Cinema world. Well the next logical step is for 3D to ingratiate itself into the world of Video Gaming, where a more immersive experience is always happily welcomed.
Well LG are doing that with the release of their 3D Monitor, the W63D. Specially designed with gamers in mind, the W63D is full HD and has 400 cd/m² brightness to really bring the games to life, as well as being rated at 172Hz per second in order to minimize blur during particularly fast action.
The W63D comes with a built in ‘G-mode’ to help optimize your set up for gaming, with Auto Brightness Control reducing eyestrain and Aspect Ratio Control eliminating distortion regardless of the ratio. G-mode also optimizes sound settings, with SRS Tru-Surround HD delivering the very best audio and Thru Mode ensuring clarity in even the fastest of action sequences.
If you prefer your screens bigger, then the new CF3D sounds like it could be just what you wanted. The CF3D is the world’s only polarized glasses 3D projector capable of transmitting full HD picture through a single lens. The CF3D is the closest you will get to the full 3D cinema experience in the home with a maximum projected screen size of an impressive 200 inches. This all comes with a 3D brightness of 1250 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 7000:1 and 6 pairs of 3D glasses in the box for friends and family to enjoy.
Finally for fans of 3D is the LG R590 3D notebook. With a 15.6” screen and no need for buffering to create a 3D picture, the R590 will be powered by an Intel Core i7 Processor with HM55 chipset and NVIDIA GeForce GT335M graphics card. This all comes alongside an optional Blu-ray drive for HD content and TriDef software to convert 2D content to 3D and that is a pretty mighty piece of technology.
The CF3D projector is in stock now! The W63D monitr is expected next month/early August. There is no plan for the R590 notebook to make it to the UK at this precise time.
