The link of the morning in our office (Congrats Mike!) was Living Sasquatch - Sasquatch might be better known as Bigfoot over here.. At least I didn't get it immediately, could just be me though!

Now, as a frequent visitor to XKCD I'm aware there are others with a much bigger interest in dinosaurs than me, but I've found it impossible to shift the idea of T-Rex and Brontosaurus's floating around the universe in bespoke space suits... Like Jacques, I want to believe!

OK, it's Friday on a four day week and the day got away from me a bit so I'm afraid the piece of literary genius I was intending to bring to you today will have to wait, but in it's place, I just have to share this with you.

Belated Ada Lovelace Day

So I'm going with being fashionably late on this one (yes, fashionable, not dreadfully disorganised and forgetful at all!) yesterday was Ada Lovelace Day; an international day of blogging to draw attention to women excelling in technology.

I found this on Engadget yesterday:
Crazy us, we thought that a remote control was meant to keep you on the couch -- it does seem rather counter-intuitive to build one that makes you leave your seat and jump around within arm's reach of the TV set. But when this guy saw an over-sized novelty remote at Brookstone, he knew that he had to have it. Not only that, but he had to best it -- by fashioning a controller for Windows Media Center so large that one would need an entire appendage to get any use out of the thing....

The sun is shining (probably.. somewhere behind all those clouds) and the birds are singing, it's almost Spring! So I decided to have a bit of a spring clean of my emails, nothing to do with the server struggling with a years worth of undeleted email honest!
