A George Carlin quote to start the week, but what would he have made of Shuellas - AKA shoe umbrellas? They are plastic booties to pull on over your shoes should it suddenly rain, and they fold up into a neat pouch so you can carry them with you just in case: (I'm fairly sure he wouldn't have worn the pink ones..!) Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid seems to have developed a taste for fashion collaborations this year - first the bag-inspired Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion, and now shoes with Melissa, (a brand Susie at Style Bubble recently introduced me to) with this fabulous curvy creation: Melissa is a Brazilian company which makes eco-friendly shoes that are 100% recyclable, has already collaborated with Vivienne Westwood, Judy Blame and Alexandre Herchcovitch.
