iri5 is an artist who specializes in recycling found materials, such as old cassettes and used books, turning trash into treasure. iRI5 is accomplished in using traditional methods as well as modern techniques. Her works have been featured in galleries in London and Bristol.
It feels great to work with strange, older materials. Things that have a mind of their own. Most everything I use has been thrown away or donated at some point. Past its prime, like some of the finest things in the world

Reyooz enables everyone to give away things that have been taking up space for too long, or lets you look for things other people are giving away.
The rule at Reyooz is that everything is offered free. The idea is that by Reyoozing your stuff you help your community, de-clutter homes and help the environment.

Reuse, refurbish or recycle

Getting a new mobile phone should bring with it plenty of joy and general feelings of awesomeness - but there's also the sad goodbye we have to make to our old handset. If it's in good condition, you can always reuse it as a spare, or pass it on to a relative or friend - but we're not always able to make that choice. So when we're done with a handset (18m last year) we all too often just throw them away. Only 20% of phones were recycled last year, which means the rest are now cluttering landfills, or gathering...
