March 25th, 2010 by LG Blog UK
AVForums have released their review of LG’s PK990 Plasma TV this afternoon.
The reviewer highlights the improvement in the depth of the blacks compared to older LG Plasmas as a big positive in this TV. Other noted positives in picture quality are the THX mode, which produces excellent Greyscale and Colour at the click of a button.

Presenting LG’s 2010 Television Range
March 4th, 2010 by LG Blog UK
LG have released the models and specifications for their 2010 Television Range, covering LED, Plasma, OLED and LCD sets. The range includes the highly anticipated LX9900 LED 3DTV, which is available in both 47 and 55 inch sizes.
The LX9900 (pictured) uses the active shutter system, rather than the passive as used in the LG LD920 3DTV, which is solely being released for commercial use. The benefit of the active shutter system is that it permits the use of 1080p (progressive image) which means that each eye gets a full HD image.

Invisible speakers result in seamless design
February 19th, 2010 by LG Blog UK
Advances in LCD and Plasma display technology have enabled manufacturers to build TVs and other consumer electronics that deliver superior picture quality from a thin, sleek enclosure. As a result, the audio quality has declined substantially in newer TVs and other display products
Subsequently as of 2009 all of LG’s plasma and LCD HDTV’s have been fitted with an invisible speaker system. Instead of traditional TV speakers that sit...

Last night LG hosted a product launch preview for a few select bloggers, AV Forums users and competition winners.

June 4th, 2009 by LG Blog UK
Edd Dale from LGE UK's training team took some time out of his busy schedule to present these videos about the 2009 TV range for us. Some of them introduce new models in the range, including the LG PS8000 Plasma and this one on the LF7700 LCD TV with built-in FreeSat:
