LG Press conference – wrap up
February 17th, 2009 by LG Blog UK
Wrapping up the conference, the LG representatives answered questions from the floor. In the UK we're not too interested in (for example) the plans for European carriers so I won't repeat the whole session but there were definitely a couple of pertinent points:
Q: Will LG be producing an Android phone?
A: Yes, look out later this year
Q: Will LG have an "app store" where users can download additional content?
A: Yes, more information will follow in Q2
Q: The watch phone - price and availability?
A: Technologically ready to roll but discussions are still ongoing with carriers, so no price and availability information is...

Following on from the Arena, we saw details of a couple other new handsets also featuring the UI.
The GM730 and GD900 phones are quite different animals: The GM 730 is a Windows Mobile based smartphone with the 3D UI fitted on top of the standard windows mobile interface.
The GD900 on the other hand has a more stylish feel, with a transparent keypad that's guaranteed to get attention. More details on those two devices will be revealed later this...

Now, be honest - does this make my bum look big?
-But seriously, feedback on the...

The BBC have a gorgeous clip, which I won't embed here as last time I tried that it was determined to auto-load, so I'm afraid you'll have to be old school and click through to find out more.
Google Latitude is, according to Mashable, is a "very interesting application" for Mobile Mapping.
When it comes to privacy, Google seems to have...
