July 24th 2010 is not a day I will remember. Nothing extraordinary happened in my life. But for 80,000 people the 24th of July is a day that will stand out in the memory as the day they took part in LG and Oscar Winning director Kevin MacDonald’s user generated film Life in a Day. The idea was to get people all around the world to record their day and then upload the clip to YouTube to be edited into the final film – the story of a single day on earth.

LG have been particularly busy lately, with their newly announced sponsorship of the Red Bull Team Racing and the Life in a Day collaborative film project with Ridley Scott and Kevin MacDonald. LG have teamed up with YouTube and the world famous filmmakers Ridley Scott and Kevin MacDonald in asking people around the world to help them create the first user generated feature length documentary shot in one day – the 24th of July 2010.
