LG AND HITACHI NAME EXECUTIVES TO LEAD JOINT VENTURE WATER TREATMENT BUSINESS

LG Electronics (LG) and Hitachi Plant Technologies, Ltd. named two senior executives to run its joint venture water treatment company, scheduled to begin operation on February 1, 2012. The two companies named Young-ha Lee Chief Executive Officer and Hidenao Kawai Chief Operating Officer for the new joint venture. The new company, LG-Hitachi Water Solutions Co., Ltd., will be based in Seoul and is expected to play a significant role in the rapidly growing water treatment industry. With the festive season fast approaching, our latest survey reveals that washing the dishes after Christmas dinner tops the festive woes Brits face this December. Over one in three Brits (38%) agree that washing the dishes after Christmas dinner the biggest stress beating classics such as battling the crowds and shopping for presents (30%), cooking the actual dinner (12%) and enduring marathon sessions of cheesy Christmas films (7%). The Life’s Good Lounge Comes to Westfield Stratford

LG Electronics (LG), a global leader in consumer electronics will give East Londoners a chance to challenge Damon Hill to a Formula 1 gaming experience at Westfield Stratford, this Friday 9th December.

Damon will be present at the Life’s Good Lounge which will showcase LG’s Next Generation TVs, Blu-ray players, and home cinema systems. To launch the national tour, Damon and his son Joshua Hill (widely seen as the future of British racing) will join shoppers at the LG Lounge on Friday from 10.30am until midday. Londoners will be able to see father and son in action, as they race against each other on a LG 3D TV, as well as challenge Christmas shoppers to beat their lap time. As an added incentive, shoppers who can beat Damon’s lap time will enter a competition to win LG 3D TV Package worth over £1000.
