Hands on with the LG Optimus One

November 9th, 2010 by LG Blog UK

It’s always a good day when a new LG handset lands on my desk. I relocate to one of the sofas in the office and get to legitimately lie around all afternoon and play with the phone! This was no exception when the new LG Optimus One handset landed last week. Running Android 2.2, with a 3.2” capacitive touchscreen and a 3.0MP camera the LG Optimus One is one of the most affordable smartphones available on the market. Having spent an afternoon lay on the sofa playing with it I was instantly taken with the UI. Running Android 2.2 LG have added...

LG Optimus phone – users guide…

May 19th, 2010 by LG Blog UK

Optimus Prime was my favourite Transformer. He was a good guy, but wasn’t afraid to use his loud and intimidating Optimus Prime voice to get people to do what he wanted. If that failed he just used the fact he was a giant robot and fought them, and from what I remember he didn’t lose very often. I mention this because the new LG phone is called the Optimus, due to it being an Android phone. It’s clearly aiming to pick up where the GW620 left off, bringing a smartphone to the masses that you won’t have to pay through the...
