LG TVs continue to impress

In the run up to next week's IFA, with all the latest home entertainment technology to be unveiled, you'd be forgiven for thinking that TVs already on the market would be taking a bit of a back seat, but that's not the case for a couple of LG's 2009 range..
First off, the LG 42LH5000 breezed through What HiFi's 'Super Test' scoring 5 stars:

What Hi-Fi? brand the LG 42LH5000 a ‘quality TV’

What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision have given the LG 42LH5000 LCD TV 5 stars, citing it as "Elegant and good value - a quality TV at a sensible price."
The LH5000 is extensively equipped. You won’t find wi-fi or widgets, but there are four HDMIs and a media-friendly USB input.
Setup is reassuringly simple
