LG go green with a new solar powered air conditioner

Offering green solutions to consumers is something LG have rightly invested heavily in over the past few years. These initiatives include a reduction of 2.1 million tons of greenhouse emissions in the first 6 months of 2009 and a $168 million investment in repurposing a decommissioned factory into a factory to make solar panels.
And some of these solar panels may well find their way onto LG’s latest air conditioning unit. It’s a wonderfully simple solution really – we use air conditioning as an answer to hot weather, so why not harness the sunlight causing the heat to help us cool...

Techradar recently gave the LG BD750 Blu-ray player a 5 star rating and now the HB965TZ Blu-ray player has received a 5 star review and taken the top prize in a group test with What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision.
The HB965TZ is an all in one speaker and Blu-ray combo offering wireless connectivity and “stylish design”. Up against similar offerings from JVC, Panasonic and Samsung, the LG walks away with the top prize being “a wonderfully rounded, highly capable all-in-one system”.
