The LG Arena in Birmingham is a great place to go and see some excellent touring acts in a wonderfully intimate arena venue. Last Friday night the LG Arena was host to Lady GaGa for the second UK leg of her Monster Ball tour, and some GaGa fans were surprised to find some interestingly dressed people telling them all about LG’s latest technology innovations. We’ve had the eighties, the nineties and the noughties. But what do we call the decade we are in now? The ‘teens’ doesn’t sound quite right. I’m making a suggestion, why not call this decade the GaGa’s? Yes, technically she exploded onto the scene in a mass of over the top costumes and gender controversy in 2009, but this will be the decade that she makes her own. Two drums and a cymbal fall off a cliff – b’dom, tssh! The old ones are the best, but now, thanks to self professed ‘geek comedian’ Tom Scott we actually know this is fact - because he threw two drums and a cymbal off a cliff! Thanks to all of you dedicated Lady GaGa fans who took their time to upload their pictures to LG’s ‘Go GaGa for LG’ Competition. It was great to see all of you embracing the spirit of GaGa with some weird and wonderful outfits. Unfortunately, after analysing the website statistics it appears that some of those taking part in the competition have been unfairly manipulating their vote count. 2009 will go down in history as The Year of GaGa. Her debut album The Fame went double platinum across Europe and made her the biggest selling artist of the year in the UK, she has already won three Brit awards and her nationwide Monster Ball tour has officially sold out.

If you are one of the thousands who were left without a ticket to see her this year then fear not, for LG are offering you the chance to win 2 VIP passes to see Lady GaGa on her Monster Ball Tour in style at the LG Arena Birmingham on the 5th of March. The LG Arena Birmingham – Life’s Good Live

Completed in October 2009, the reinvigorated LG Arena Birmingham is a must visit venue for any music fan. With £29 million spent on redvelopment last year it is now one of the biggest and best venues in the country with a capacity of 15,700. But comfort has not been forfeit for size, with every seat being brand new with comfortable padding and a couple of extra inches added during the refit. Everything has been thought of to ensure that an excellent experience is enjoyed with 100 LG large screens placed inside the arena and even 400 toilets onsite, especially useful when the ‘Fast Pour’ pumps at the bar can pour 24 pints in 7 seconds! Where better to catch the biggest touring acts like Lady Gaga who is playing in March?

Why not make a proper night of it with forumLIVE, a 6,000 square meter pre and post show entertainment space packed full of bars and restaurants. 250 people worked on forumLIVE for 30 weeks to ensure everything was just right for the perfect night out!
