August 28th, 2009 by LG Blog UK

As suggested in the Ofcom report I mentioned on Monday, we now have proof that us Brits aren't letting the recession put us off investing in new technology. A new report by the GfK Group shows that the flat panel TV market grew by 22.9% in the first half of this year, when compared to the same period in 2008. This is fantastic news for us in particular because LG is currently the fastest growing TV brand in the flat panel market, up 62% on value Jan – May. This means LG have now overtaken Sony!
