The upcoming summer of sport is the perfect opportunity to invite some friends over to watch some world-class football, but how good a host are you? Are you up to Brazil standard? Or more like Papua New Guinea?
LG are rewarding those who know how to host the ultimate event with their Home Entertainment Hero competition. The winning entrant each month will win an excellent 3D LG Home Entertainment system complete with a state of the art 47” LX9900 3D TV, a BX580 3D Blu-Ray player and a HB965TZ home cinema system. Simply submit a brief description of how you went that extra mile to be the perfect host, complete with a video or image to show us your skills and you could be in the running to win. All entrants will have their picture displayed in the Home Entertainment Hero Gallery with LG’s favourite taking home the Home Entertainment system!
If you think your skills aren’t up to scratch then the Home Entertainment Hero site is also the perfect place to learn the insider tips to becoming a successful host, courtesy of the ‘Legendary guide to entertaining’ where LG’s Heroes can share their tips.
For those of you who still think the height of sophistication is a tube of Pringles and removing your laundry from the living room floor then you could do worse than watching LG’s video of Ben, the Home Entertainment Hero. He successfully (and with a little help from his friends) turned his living room into a football stadium, complete with stadium seating, dancing supporters and real grass floor!

Life’s Good as LG give away tickets to see Chelsea V Manchester United in 3D

Life just got better as LG are giving away 2 fantastic prizes so you and your friends can see the upcoming Manchester United Vs Chelsea match in glorious 3D on Saturday April 3rd.
The two winners will receive 5 tickets each guaranteeing them and 4 friends entry to a pub in London that will be screening the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Chelsea, in what could well be the title deciding game of the season. The match is to be the first of 7 Premier League matches to be broadcast in 3D by Sky before the end of the season, as part of an initiative with LG to bring 3D to consumers ahead of the upcoming summer of sport.
The selected pubs will be kitted out with LG’s 47inch LD920 3DTV, which uses passive 3D technology that is exclusively being used by LG for public viewing.
The lucky winners will get to view the match in an exclusive invite only area, with full hospitality*. Each winner will also get an exclusive pair of stylish 3D glasses which they can even keep after the match!
All you need to do to get the Life’s Good experience with LG is comment in the bar below telling us why seeing this match in 3D is a must for you. The winners will be drawn at random and notified by email.
Terms & Conditions
1.) The competition closes at 9am on Thursday April 1st. Entries received after this time will not be counted in the final draw.
