LG Electronics (LG) announced that it won a total of nine awards at 2012 the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), further solidifying its position as a leader in developing cutting-edge products. Honors include the Popular Mechanics Editors’ Choice, IMS Research TV Innovation Award, multiple HD Guru Awards, and the prestigious CNET Best of Show.

It’s that time of the year again, as T3 and Techradar – 2 of the most prestigious technology sites put together their list of nominations for their 2011 awards.

The CTIA Wireless Awards

The CTIA Wireless Trade Show has wrapped up for another year in Orlando, Florida and we are pleased to announce that it has been a good year for LG as the award winners are announced.
The LG Thrill 4G (the US name for the Optimus 3D) picked up second place in the Phones/Smartphones category, whilst the T-Mobile G-Slate (LG Optimus Tablet) picked up third place in the Tablets/Notebooks/Embedded Wireless Devices catergory.

LG’s PK990 Plasma TV awarded “Best Photo TV Display” by TIPA

Yesterday it was announced that LG’s PK990 plasma TV was awarded the accolade of “Best Photo TV Display” in the 2010 TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Awards.
TIPA is a global organization of photo and imaging magazines, and their annual awards are recognized as the premiere prize in the photo and imaging industry. The recipients are selected by the association’s editors, with decisions based on factors such as innovation, design and value.

Original and innovative, LG mobiles take center stage at iF Product Design Award 2010

Once again, LG design and technology have been recognized at the highest level. This time, the plaudits came at the 2010 ceremony of the iF product design award, held in the German city of Hanover on March 2.
Along with reddot and IDEA, iF is one of the most prestigious design awards in the world, recognizing products that unite function, comfort and aesthetics while also displaying genuine innovation. We've just found out that the LG 42LF7700 has been shortlisted for TV of the year in the T3 awards!

Today is a good day for me - earlier I got to share the good news on our LF7700 competition winner and now I get to congratulate someone else!
Last Friday Emma Scott, managing director of Freesat, took the top prize of the First Women Awards in the media category.

The 2009 James Dyson Award has recently launched.
The James Dyson Award is an international design award that celebrates, encourages and inspires the next generation of design engineers.
