It’s that time of the year again, as T3 and Techradar – 2 of the most prestigious technology sites put together their list of nominations for their 2011 awards. The CTIA Wireless Trade Show has wrapped up for another year in Orlando, Florida and we are pleased to announce that it has been a good year for LG as the award winners are announced. The LG Thrill 4G (the US name for the Optimus 3D) picked up second place in the Phones/Smartphones category, whilst the T-Mobile G-Slate (LG Optimus Tablet) picked up third place in the Tablets/Notebooks/Embedded Wireless Devices catergory. Yesterday it was announced that LG’s PK990 plasma TV was awarded the accolade of “Best Photo TV Display” in the 2010 TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Awards. Once again, LG design and technology have been recognized at the highest level. This time, the plaudits came at the 2010 ceremony of the iF product design award, held in the German city of Hanover on March 2. We've just found out that the LG 42LF7700 has been shortlisted for TV of the year in the T3 awards! 2009 shortlist announced The first round of voting is over, the experts have been quizzed and all the ballots have been counted. Now T3 can now reveal which products have made it through to the shortlist for the prestigious T3 Gadget Awards 2009, in association with Qualcomm.
