I have rather poor observational skills. I seem to walk around in my own world, oblivious to the new haircuts of friends or old ladies with Zimmer frames glaring at me on the bus when I don’t notice them to give up my seat. I’ve been knocked down by 2 cars and a shop mobility scooter in the last year alone.
The LG Viewty phone is clearly a lot more observant than me, because it can recognize up to 16 faces using Multi-Face Detection on its 8MP camera. To celebrate this technology LG has released the excellent advert below. At first glance...

In case you haven't seen the new LG Renoir TV advert, then be sure to check it out on YouTube. It depicts how the Renoir incorporates a 8MB camera, mp3 and DivX player with Dolby Mobile, touchscreen with Wi-Fi & 3G connectivity, all in one slim compact package... and with the aid of a giant crusher (what better way possible?)....

Yesterday I came across this terrifying 'fooz'ball table from AirWorks Inflatables:
Terrifying for me because I have enough trouble playing on a standard table but also because I can imagine the havoc created were we to actually get one in our office! Fortunately there is only one of these giant tables in existence at the moment; built for beer promotion during the recent European Champions League finals.in
It also reminds me of another beer advert which suggested 'You do the football, we'll do the beer' - I'll buy the beer if I need to but please do not make any more of...
