3D Modelling on your Phone

The brainy chaps at Microsoft Research have put their heads together and developed a 3D modeling application for a mobile phone! It works very simply – take multiple photos of the object from different viewpoints and the software uses overlapping shots to create a photo-realistic 3D model that can be rotated and viewed from different angles.
