if you remove the back cover of the phone the simcard will be either instantly visable when you remove the back of the phone or located either under the battery (which you will need to remove to find the simcard)

Hi Rory,
There is not meant to be a plastic bit in the cover itself. The phone will have been designed with this in mind. Having checked a few phones in the office this looks like a fairly standard design feature, and not just on LG handsets

Should there be a plastic lens in front of the camera in the back panel? I bought this phone today, and there's no plastic lens cover on the back panel, so there's basically a hole in the back of the phone, and dust can get in and the camera lens is going to get scratched. Please say I have a faulty back panel, and this is not a design error.

I hate my LG (the KM900 Arena). It's incredibly slow, randomly dies, has terrible internet connection, and DOESN'T HAVE A BLOODY APP STORE! Will it be coming to my phone soon or will it, like everything else on the phone, not work properly?

This has upset me some what, so we are the guinea pigs for testing on. I have my lg gw620 on contract for 18 months i got it thinking it was future proof so now im stuck with it till it ends. Im with mikimyky i would never get another lg phone as this is just not what i thought they would do. Giving customers what they want??? not what they did for this customer!

it just means that it has a facebook application on it.
you have to pay for the internet if you want to use it, unless you have a specific phone package which allows you to access the internet for free.

The LX9900 is the UK model name. In India it is the LX9500 – it's on the LG India website so maybe try checking retailers for the LX9500.

I could not find the availability of LG 3D Products in Indian Market (i did a little survey yesterday in local market in New Delhi). However, Sumsung 3D TV was available everywhere. Since I've been using LG Products since last 9 years in my offices as well as at home without any problems, i'd not like to enter any other Brand in my Life )

In all the years I've used PCs , I don't think I've ever had to use a driver that has come with a monitor!

Windows will always find something in it's driver database in my experience (and Linux too) .. my LG2053 worked straight out of the box in Win 7 X64 without needing anything for example.

You must be using something really weird if your monitors not recognized ..

You would have to pay for the internet connection i'm afraid Julia. Plenty of carriers will throw internet access on your phone for next to nothing though…
