The Life’s Good Lounge Comes to Westfield Stratford

LG Electronics (LG), a global leader in consumer electronics will give East Londoners a chance to challenge Damon Hill to a Formula 1 gaming experience at Westfield Stratford, this Friday 9th December.

Damon will be present at the Life’s Good Lounge which will showcase LG’s Next Generation TVs, Blu-ray players, and home cinema systems. To launch the national tour, Damon and his son Joshua Hill (widely seen as the future of British racing) will join shoppers at the LG Lounge on Friday from 10.30am until midday. Londoners will be able to see father and son in action, as they race against each other on a LG 3D TV, as well as challenge Christmas shoppers to beat their lap time. As an added incentive, shoppers who can beat Damon’s lap time will enter a competition to win LG 3D TV Package worth over £1000.

The Life’s Good Lounge will show Westfield customers, just how easy it is to enjoy the Next Generation TV experience in their own living room. Staff will be on hand to demonstrate the different technologies as well as give expert advice about how to get the best home entertainment experience available.

Jonathan Trott named ICC Cricketer of the Year 2011

England's Jonathan Trott has been named ICC Cricketer of the Year 2011 at the LG ICC Awards after an extraordinary 12 months for the batsman. In 12 Tests, he compiled 1,042 runs at an average of 65.12, including four centuries and three half-centuries. LG 3D Game Festival Spans the Globe

LG’s 3D Game Festival has kicked off, attracting throngs of excited, energetic gamers from across the world. Already, 50,000 spectators gathered in Seoul last June for the inaugural festival. Since then, LG has taken the gaming festivities worldwide. Life’s Good with Optimus 3D

On July 26, New York City’s Terminal 5 venue rocked to the sound of Jane’s Addiction, as 1,500 fans packed in to see the alt-rock heroes. Twenty-six years after they formed, the musical veterans put in a storming show that had the crowds whooping for more. At this recent Jane’s Addiction concert, LG and the band selected 100 fans to film the gig in 3D using an Optimus 3D smartphone.
