It’s not easy being me. Of course, I’ve always known how utterly fabulous I am – even way back when I first learnt to spin. But being blessed with 6 Motion technology has always made me a little, well, different. Take school sports day. I was more interested in cleaning up the grass stains than bringing home the silverware. And in my achingly hip Uni days, yours truly was the only kid on campus not to take their dirty smalls home at half-term for mum to wash. Puh-leeze!!
But now I’m all grown up, and can hold my own – and with a 12kg drum capacity, a lot more besides. Life’s good, especially when I’m hanging with my SW3 flatmates; fashion buyer Suzie (OMG, that girl knows how to accessorize), and my BFF Valerie (big heart, bad taste in boyfriends). Bete noires? I have a few – not least Valerie’s unfashionable other half, Julian (rugby shirts: unacceptable. Rugby shirts with collar up? Unforgivable!) Then there’s the…how shall we say, less ‘style-conscious’ appliances I’m forced to share a room with – nasty. Some say I’m the biggest diva in the kitchen. Yes, I’m direct. Yes, I have a superiority complex. But it’s only because I care – for fashion, for the environment, for every grubby garment that darkens my door. But what’s so special about me?
