I think i’m safe in saying that most people don’t like it when something breaks down? At LG we want to make that unfortunate experience as painless as possible, so we came up with Smart Diagnosis. Don’t worry, we’re very proud of our 10 year warranty on our Direct Drive Machines and are sure that you’ll have many happy(?) years of washing. But, sometimes, the smallest of things, like a blocked pipe, can leave you a bit frustrated.
Smart Diagnosis is a simple feature that allows your washing machine to tell YOU (and us) what the fault is and most importantly, how to fix it! If a new part is needed then we can make sure that the repair is as quick as possible by ensuring that all the relevant information on your machine is accurate and that the engineer has the specific spare parts with him when he visits!
So, how does it work?!
1. Simply download the app for your phone.
2. When an error occurs just hold the phone near the Smart Diagnosis logo on your washer and follow the simple instructions on the phone.
That’s it! Hopefully it’ll be something that you can fix yourself right there and then but if you need more help, rest assured our customer service team will have all the info they need from the diagnosis to help get things moving quickly again!
