LG UNVEIL NEXT GENERATION SOLAR MODULES AT INTERSOLAR 2011
June 9th, 2011 by Dave@LGUKLaunched at Intersolar 2011, the world’s largest solar exhibition running in Munich currently, the Mono X TM and Multi X TM solar modules are both more efficient than conventional models. In fact 8.3% and 4.3% more efficient respectively.
The Mono X has the highest energy efficiency among all LG modules in its class. It also runs at 260W, compared to the normal 240W, which results in greater efficiency, as well as being designed to be easier and less expensive to install.
The Multi X has LG’s advanced surface treatment, meaning that the surface absorbs more sunlight, energy output is much greater than conventional multi-crystaline solar cells.
With an industry leading 25-year guarantee and LG’s commitment to providing comprehensive customer service, the Mono X and Multi X were developed at LG’s solar module test lab, which is certified by both TUV and UL, an industry first.
The new solar modules were put through their paces at LG’s test lab, and are rated to withstand frontal and rear pressure of 5400Pa, as well as the harshest climate conditions. Visitors to the LG stand at Intersolar will even be able to watch a 3D film demonstrating the solar modules undergoing testing in extreme conditions. Both solar cell products are available in a number of sizes, and with an attractive blue cell and piano black frame, both are ideal for the needs of almost every customer.
