The LG App store is also populated with hundreds of applications for download to your TV, with apps for nearly everything including language classes through to games!
The platform also includes a web browser, meaning the days of using your laptop whilst watching TV are a thing of the past for those with LG Smart TV or the Smart TV Upgrader.
Just when you thought Smart TV couldn’t do anything smarter it also transpires that with LG’s Smart Share function means users can wirelessly stream content from their PCs and other compatible devices. Amrt Share also works with Media Link, which provides additional information like cover art or liner notes for when you are enjoying your streamed content.

LG Smart TV is available on a range of LG’s new LED, LCD and plasma HDTVs, including: LV550T, LW550T, LW650T, LW770T, LW950T, PZ570T and PZ950T. The platform is also available on a number of Blu-ray Disc players and Home Cinema offerings. For consumers who are not looking to purchase a new television but would like to access the LG Smart TV technology, LG also has introduced the LG Smart TV Upgrader (ST600), a set-top box that provides any television with an HDMI input the ability to access endless amounts of content including movies, sports, television programming, music and premium applications.
