SmartDiagnosis allows for a quick and easy fix

Like when you’re at the doctors trying to explain the pain in your foot, but the words escape you and you end up pointing at your foot saying “it hurts” over and over. Well it’s a shame your foot is not made by LG because if it was you would simply be able to press a button and hold it up to the phone and the engineer on the other end would know the fault via SmartDiagnosis.
LG haven’t moved into the prosthetic limb business, instead SmartDiagnosis is a clever new idea that is being used on the latest LG washing machines to discover the fault with your product. It’s a very simple idea really, in the event a fault occurs the consumer enters a sequence on the display and the machine will play a series of tones that can be played over the phone to an engineer, saving the trouble of an engineer visiting without having the correct parts with him.
The possibilities for this are practically endless in terms of improving the efficiency of customer service and product repair as SmartDiagnosis could be used on practically any consumer product.
