Insider tips for LG phones
August 9th, 2010 by Dave@LGUKI was lucky enough to recently sit down and have a chat with Mike, one of LG’s mobile phone experts who talked me through some of the range, highlighting some of the key points and tricks on the various LG handsets. So here is a combination of interesting facts and cool features I learnt over the course of my time with Mike.
GD910 Watchphone:
The GD910 Watchphone is so much more than just a cool James Bond inspired gadget. It is video call compatible and has Bluetooth built in so you can use a headset rather than walk around looking like you’re checking if your watch is working as you hold it to your ear making a call. The GD910 is also incredibly exclusive, as the only place in the UK to pick one up was the Orange shop on Bond St.
GT540 Optimus:
The Optimus is one of the cheapest smartphones available on contract in the UK, with contract prices starting at just £15! It is easy to personalise to your own needs, with up to 7 scrolling home screens available to change to your own tastes, with your favourite apps simple to drag and drop onto these screens as a shortcut.
The Optimus is also a great media player and can be set so that a simple shake of the phone will skip the track you are listening to using the inbuilt accelerometer.
Another useful tip is that you are able to recalibrate the touchscreen to ensure accuracy in use.
GW620 InTouch Max:
The InTouch Max is a great smartphone for first time users, especially those who are new to touchscreen as the slide out QWERTY keyboard can be used for navigation.
Here’s a little tip for those of you wanting to move your contacts from you simcard to your phone – go into Menu on the contact, press Import/Export then simply select ‘phone’ to move your contacts from the simcard to the phone memory.
GC900 Viewty Smart:
The Viewty Smart is a great multimedia phone, with an 8mp camera, which is a key selling point for many customers.
The camera has many great features, particularly beauty mode that airbrushes any photos taken! This is just one of the great features, to learn what they all do simply press the question mark button to learn more about the features in question.
