You should definetly get yourself one buddy ! I really am over the moon with mine and the kids love watching there Pixar films in 3d they really look stunning.

I looked at one these yesterday in RicherSounds. The on-the-fly conversion was incredible. REALLY INCREDIBLE. an they sell the 55″ model for £1250… may have to treat myself after Christmas…

I have just picked up a 47″ led LG tv that converts 2d to 3d and i can tell you thats exactly what it doe’s ! I know its not proper 3d but it really is fantastic i am so pleased with my purchase.
To be honest i have always been a bit of a sony fan boy but not so much any more the picture on this tv is fantastic in 3d and 2d especially with a high quality source like blu-ray.

I should add that the menu on my Model 2342- P does show a choice for “2d to 3d” but this choice is faded out and I can not switch it on.

Has this information been updated? As of June 1, 2011, LG has been selling the LG2342P model in the US. This model ( I own one) boasts of having 2d to 3d conversion capability but I have not been able to activate this in my menu choices (as of July 1st). I am fearful that the LG 2342-PN model may have the capacity and that my 2342-P may not. Can you answer this question for me.

According to the rave reviews 3D is really 3D. 2D is really 2D, trying to create a 3D image
through illusion, like blacklight posters created. No fundamental set of rules exist to create the Tom Foolery. Real 3D is already being released to the public, although a much more great
effort is needed to create real 3D movies. It makes sense to me to buy a 3D ready t.v.
But I don't see much being said about 2D to 3D or how it really works.

Hi.
The LX9500 is not capable of 2D to 3D conversion. If you are based in the UK Sky will soon be launching their dedicated 3D channel which will be free to Sky HD subscribers

Hi there, just bought a 55lx9500, can anyone explain me how to watch (digital cable) programms in 3d?, when selecting 3 d i can only select the “top&bottom” and “side by side”, both of them dont give me the 3D effect?

The 55lx9500 and 55lx9900 have ghosting, just like the samsungs in 3d

Hello my name is Aman,, I'm from india. And i work at LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. Converting a normal 2D channel to 3D channel is a little issue..So i think the R & D is working on it.. Soon the 3D LED TV will be launched in India too..
