The great reviews for LG’s technology keep rolling in as Techradar award the BD570 media streamer an excellent 5 stars and ask the ultimate question, ‘is it a media streamer that plays Blu-rays, or vice versa? The review highlights the quality of the BD570 as both a media player and as a Blu-ray player, all in a small shell. LG help block out the sound of the vuvuzelas so you can focus on the football

June 23rd, 2010 by LG Blog UK

The 1986 World Cup will forever be remembered as the first time the ‘Mexican Wave’ was seen on an international stage. A well orchestrated Mexican Wave is quite a wonderful visual spectacle. However the 2010 World Cup will be remembered for one thing – vuvuzelas! They have received a mixed reaction with some people liking them, whilst others proclaim them to be a menace with the potential to permanently damage your hearing. Hopefully LG’s Clear Voice feature will help ease the suffering, by changing the settings you could potentially quieten the sound of the vuvuzelas. Clear Voice was designed to enhance...

June 21st, 2010 by LG Blog UK

AVForums have reviewed the 47-inch LE8900 LCD TV and given it a highly recommended commendation. The typically comprehensive review from AVForums takes literally everything into account to give a full and fair review, including design, menus and set-up, features, measured results of the box and calibrated results to name but a few.
