A recent study by Brand Republic showed that one in seven 18-24 year olds watch no live television. This is not surprising considering that TV on demand is so readily available. On demand TV is referred to as ‘lean forward TV’ in marketing, as when sat at a computer you naturally lean forwards, where as conventional TV watching is referred to as ‘lean back TV’ as, rather obviously, it is viewed as a more relaxing pastime.

Watching TV is meant to be a relaxing past time, but leaning forward hunched over a 13inch monitor watching the latest episode of Eastenders seems anything but. Thankfully LG’s latest monitor, the M2362D, is perfectly suited for TV, gaming, watching video clips or even just conventional PC usage.

The M2362D has a 23inch HD screen and comes complete with Two HDMI connectors, D-sub, DVI-D, Composite, Component, as well as two scart sockets provided for convenient connection for viewing movies, playing games, and viewing the latest pictures from you digital camera. Also included is an inbuilt MPEG4 digital TV tuner, supporting HDTV without the need for a separate receiver with a 50000:1 contrast ratio and 5 ms response time. Furthermore the M2363D monitor uses USB Quick View, allowing you to access multimedia content from a USB stick without having to even turn on your PC.
