Another one waiting for an update of the gw620. It has a very good hardware but the software support from LG it's not so good as expected. I think that will be more easy to LG to supply the kernel code and the community will do the rest.

Nothing major - a few slow-ups now and again, wi-fi not holding connect when screen blanks (known 1.5 issues). Also there are some apps I've come across which require 1.6 or higher - and obviously any that utilise voice-recognition in any form won't work. From a phone function point of view voice-dialling would make using it with a bluetooth headset properly hands-free. I'm using this handset a lot and I'm loving it too... just wanting some icing on the (cup)cake, really!

Been using this phone for a week now - excellent indeed. Any inside info as to when we in the UK might see an update from Android 1.5? I know it's early days but it would make a great phone even better with features like speech recognition/voice dial, etc

Hi Si,
As i'm sure you've read i am a fan of this phone too! I'm looking into whether or not an upgrade from Android 1.5 will become available.
I've personally not had any problems using cupcake. Have you had any?
Thanks
