I just came across this entry in this year’s Ukraine’s Got Talent. The effect seems to be created by rearranging sand over a lightbox – but it’s much more stunning than that makes it sound! It’s a remarkable use of sand and the artist, Kseniya Simonova has a fantastic presence on the stage, managing to make the process dramatic and interesting to watch while never upstaging the animation.
As someone who will remain unnamed to save embarrassment pointed out, she ‘shore’ has talent by the bucket load!
