July 31st, 2009 by LG Blog UK

Introducing the 'BedBunker' safe, as spotted on Unique Daily “As many as 32 rifles and 70 hand guns, supply complete protection within this carefully designed tamper proof hidden storage system… BedBunker modular safes are designed to replace the box spring under twin, queen, or king size mattresses and are compatible with most standard bed frames. Custom sizes are available by special order… Sophisticated Mul-T-Lock locking system, hydraulic gas-assist piston, and a strategically mounted maximum security hinge system carefully integrated for maximum strength and safe operation.” Interesting idea and potentially very useful for some, but the gun storage is - hopefully - not...

Win an LG Arena in our Boogie Baby Video Competition

July 27th, 2009 by LG Blog UK

You may have seen the LG 'Boogie Baby' who was featured in our recent ads. The baby with all the best moves is back, getting his groove on to a classic track from the Jackson Five in an homage to the best dancer of them all, Michael Jackson. I don’t know if you can blame his epic dance moves on the moonlight, the sunshine, the boogie, the King of Pop or just on natural talent, but whatever it is something gives this little one the power of the funk. Because he proved so popular he’s now got his own video so we...

Hey! You’ve got to hide your fridge away!

July 21st, 2009 by LG Blog UK

(I'm going to be humming Beatles tunes all the way home!) In the past week Gadget Venue have had a couple of interesting posts about Fridge Magnets, first a very cute Mario inspired set: The set includes a small Mario, 1 small cloud, 1 hill, 1 tall pipe, 2 bricks, 1 item block, 1 power-up mushroom and 3 coins and each item is made of Perler beads. And then, for the designer who has everything, someone has created a set of photoshop magnets: Then I remembered a few weeks ago The Red Ferret Journal posted about 'Appliance Art' to spruce up your dishwasher, fridge...

Cnet is hot for the LG 50PS6000

July 17th, 2009 by LG Blog UK

I just noticed that this review of the LG 50PS6000 by Cnet is flagged as one of their 'hot' products; they've rated it as Excellent and say that "competition at this size is virtually non-existent. We're certain you won't get a better price than the one asked by LG for this screen". It's not just the price that impressed them either: The 50PS6000 is a serious piece of kit. From the moment you haul it out of its box, you can tell it means business. There's a 50-inch solid glass screen at the front, which gives the panel a striking look....
