OK, it’s Friday on a four day week and the day got away from me a bit so I’m afraid the piece of literary genius I was intending to bring to you today will have to wait, but in it’s place, I just have to share this with you.

This is totally BRILLIANT! It’s an idea I wish I’d had first and I’m definitely going to spend the weekend trying to decide on what my skirt will look like.*

* assuming I actually get around to buying the necessary materials – and indeed sowing machine – required!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you… The Missile Command Circle Skirt!

It’s the latest creation from the Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories and is a fantastic twist on the traditional ’50s Poodle skirt. It’s such a good – and relatively simple (in a ‘why didn’t I think of that?!’ way as well as looking fairly easy to make) – idea!
I never played Missile Command but I’d love to work out a way of doing a Space Invaders version. For a brief moment I got excited about a Pong skirt too – would certainly be a good starter project, being such a simple design, but would it work? Perhaps I shall have to look into this – for the sake of science, you understand, not for the additions to my own wardrobe!
