CSS Naked Day – show off your tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the fourth annual ‘CSS Naked Day

The idea behind this event is to promote Web Standards. Plain and simple. This includes proper use of (x)html, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, and of course, a good ‘ol play on words. It’s time to show off your < body >.
[...] This is not about getting traffic or making money. There are no ads on this site, nor will there ever be. This is about you, the people; getting naked.

Started in 2005 by Dustin Diaz to promote Web Standards, a good semantic mark-up and proper hierarchy structures, the first Naked day was a challenge to webmasters to put their website on the line. “The fact of the matter is,” according to Dustin “if you’re writing good solid markup to begin with, it shouldn’t be all that bad anyway. It will be a test case to see how usable your website is to others without a “design.”

So if you fancy putting your site to the test – or just stripping off for the world to see – stop by Dustin’s Site to add your name to the list of those who dare to bare and have a lovely naked day!
