This year LG will be showcasing a range of products at the EDF Energy Ideal Home Show exhibition, one of the UK’s largest home design events, from the 20th March – 13th April at Earl’s Court. The LG Electronics stand will include items from the new 2009 ranges of TV’s, audio visual equipment, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and microwaves, all which are being officially unveiled to the consumer for the first time.

The theme of the show this year is “energy saving” which is a perfect fit for LG who, as we’ve mentioned before are no stranger to energy efficient and eco-friendly products and have the logos and certifications to prove it; 75% of LG’s 2009 range has been certified by the Energy Saving Trust and carry the Energy saving logo.

Last year LG introduced the Intelligent Sensor technology which optimizes the brightness, sharpness, colour and contrast of the picture within any environment to protect against eyestrain and reduce power consumption. The majority of LG’s TV range for 2009 has been produced with this technology present to benefit the consumer which is vital especially in the current market conditions and climate change.
