LG Electronics today announces the launch of its new range of AV products, including its latest Blu-ray home cinema systems (HCS), Blu-ray player and design-led iPod docking station and compact home cinema system, at CES, Las Vegas.

The HB954PB and the HB354BS are two new Blu-ray home cinema systems that have been designed to create the art of perfect home entertainment, with a combination of leading Blu-ray technology, BD Live and specially tuned audio by Mr Mark Levinson.     I like the idea of downloading and watching easter eggs and extras though a Blu Ray player, more of a reason to buy the genuine article…

    …but will the creaky broadband infrastructure here in the UK be able to cope with downloads of high definition content?
