Announcing the winner of the LG 32PG6000

January 26th, 2009 by Dave@LGUK

As part of last year’s launch of the LG Owners’ Forum on the AVForums we ran a competition to win a free LG Plasma TV – a 32PG6000. The competition was to make the best post in the sub-forum’s first 2 months and the winning post was A Challenge to LG re their new Plasmas by AVForums regular mjcairney aka Martin.

We felt it was a really good question to us, which also created some good debate and speculation about TV products and retail within this sector. This post and the subsequent thread embodies the reasons we undertook this owners forum – we wanted to be involved in, and privy to, considered conversations with influential members of the internet community about AV Products and the AV industry in general. mjcairney challenged us and created a conversation which gave us valuable insight and we thank you heartily for it!

The lucky winner was notified in late December – some good news to see in the new year! – and last week the TV was delivered by a member of LG UK staff who installed the set, we have a picture of LG trainer Paul Kelly (left) with Martin and his new set up. Looks good, no?

Congratulations to Martin, a lucky but deserving winner, and if you’re interested in our AV products perhaps we’ll see you in the forum!

And don’t forget, for your own chance to win something, this time a KC780 handset, check out our new competition on Facebook.
