Just a quick link to this collection of 5 TED talks on collaboration and communities from Social Media Trader:

What do some of the world’s greatest thinkers and doers think about collaboration and communities? We’ve compiled 5 interesting videos, so grab your popcorn, sit back and enjoy.

Some really interesting stuff there including University professor Richard Baraniuk explaining ‘Connexions’, his open-source education system which allows teachers to share and modify course materials freely, anywhere in the world and Howard Rheingold on Wikipedia as an outgrowth of our natural human instinct to work as a group. Enjoy!

TED talks are some of the most inspiring I’ve heard. If you get a moment have a listen to a talk by MOMA’s Design Curator Paolo Antonelli Design Curator its about design, science and the elastic mind as she puts. She’s working on an exhibition about collaboration on conceptual ideas for the future. The mind boggles at the possibilities.
