Just got my Prada II and I’ve got to say it’s a marked improvement over the original….but…. i’m a little perplexed by the screensaver!
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to disable it?? Scoured the manual but to no avail!
My main concern is getting my phone out down the pub to be the envy of my mates… only to end up the subject of ridicule as my phone proudly displays a pair of ladies Prada shoes from the embedded Prada catalogue!!
Please tell me there is a way round this……

Everyone note you can get a Prada Link watch from Expansys.

The one I ordered arrived today and i’ve been playing with it. I must say the Prada Link is so cool, and the range on the bluetooth can get up to 10 meters easily. It is also waterproof to 30meters though I don’t think i’ll be testing that out.

Everyone in my office is super jealous.

I got my prada phone KF900
and i tried to install PCSuite with the disc, but it showed the error message
“0x8000FFFF Catastrophic Failure”
and stopped the installation

Anyone can help?!?! can’t sync my phone with computer!!!

I’ve just ordered my new Prada II phone from Orange, they officially started selling them this week, but they do not stock the Prada Link, either do Phones4U.
Can you let me know how I can get one, as the real appeal of this phone is the whole product with the Prada Link.

Wow……. Im theonly person in U.S. that has the Prada 1 Since ive yet to see anyone that has it. Wasnt To Impressed With The prada 2 Since all that was diff was the keyboard…. However My boy is filled me In The The LINK WATCH….. And i was blown Away!!!!
Does anyone know if You can Use the LINK WATCH with the Prada 1???????

Hi Sarah, you have 3 options in this instance:

1) Contact their original retailer who may offer to exchange the handset (subject to their terms and conditions) or arrange for the handset to be sent away for repair. The retailer may be able to offer a loan handset while the customer handset is away for repair.

2) call our call centre on: 08700 505123 and book the handset in for repair. A pre-paid bag will be sent, return your handset in the pre-paid bag and once repaired the handset is returned. Normal turn around time should be 5 working days.

3) book their handset in for repair online via the LG mobile web booking system: http://www.lgrepair.co.uk A pre-paid bag will be sent, they return their handset in the pre-paid bag and once repaired the handset is returned. Normal turn around time should be 5 working days.

There is no loan handset available should you go with options 2 or 3. Hope that helps!

Warranties vary depending on who your provider is so your best bet is to check any/all paperwork you got with the handset and/or contact them.

It’s proving impossible, and increasingly frustrating, to get information on the Link in particular here in the UK. To date I’ve been into 3 Phones 4 U stores where they either don’t know what I’m talking about with the Link or try to sell me a digital photo frame along with the Prada 2. . . I just don’t see the point of promoting the two products together and then making one impossible to find, especially when people are enthusiatic about them and want to buy both!!
