The LG Renoir KC910: a first look

Today we’re pleased to say we can take our first look at the forthcoming LG Renoir KC910, the 8MP full touchscreen cameraphone that is the successor to last year’s enormously successful Viewty.

The KC910 boasts a 3″ WQVGA 240×400 pixel display that is fully touchscreen. The camera is a ISO1600 8MP camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, digital zoom, image stabiliser and geotagging. The videocamera has VGA capability at 30fps and QVGA capability at 120fps and DivX and Xvid. Connectivity is important, with HSDPA connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi and and TV-out support. It can also take SD cards with a capacity up to 8GB.

Check out the photos we have below and keep checking the site – we’ll have more information on the phone and in-depth coverage of its features in the run-up to its release, which will be this October.

As well as a touchscreen it also has three function buttons at the bottom

And it looks good from an angle as well as head-on

If you’re interested in further details about the Renoir KC910, then you can always check out the official specification.

Battery life at 3-4 days is useless. Bluetooth downloads crash the system and you have to power down and loose all your settings to get back in. LG just say oh a software problem send it back.how many times do I have to send it back before you send me one that works??
  • This phone is a great phone! I was using a Nokia N82 previously. After getting this phone, i never thought a LG could be this good. The 8MP camera is amazing. You can also edit ur pictures immidiately and got lots of tools to use. Although there's a little lag while opening a folder, it's still smooth. Sometimes when u unlock the phone from key lock, the lag makes it nice, like you see the image and the keys slowly appears. It's a great phone! Never regret getting this. My rating for this phone is 9/10
  • I believe it's scratch proof yes

Contract is up for renewal next month and I had my heart set on the Samsung i8510 ever since I heard of it. Then I seen this beauty with it's XENON FLASH! Hurry up and release it LG!
  • I'm fairly sure it's going to run on a similar OS to the Secret & Viewty. As for network coverage, I'm afraid there's no news on that just yet but we'll let you know when we do.

What OS will this phone be running? Any idea what networks will have it first?
